The cultural world in the face of Russian aggression

On Monday, February 28, the ministers of culture of Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine signed a declaration in which they pledged, among other things, to make every possible effort to exclude the Russian Federation from international organisations, committees and programmes of the realm of culture.

The Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage stresses that in the face of Russia's unprecedented military aggression against Ukraine, which is a close neighbour and ally of Poland, cultural cooperation with Russia is not possible on any level. Detailed information on sanctions can be found HERE.

Moreover, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage is launching a database of activities of Polish museums addressed to refugees from Ukraine. For many of them, in addition to necessary assistance in providing basic needs, access to culture is also important. Our Museum will join this undertaking! We will soon inform you about our actions.
