Jolanta Altman-Radwańska has passed away
It is with sadness that we inform you of the passing Jolanta Altman-Radwańska (born in 1950), historian, graduate of the University of Silesia in Katowice, and above all employee of our Museum in 1977-1988. She passed away on January 18th in Bonn.
She was employed in the Science and Research Department, rising from the rank of assistant to custodian, and briefly heading the department. In her line of work she focused on research on the number of prisoners-of-war in different military districts, as well as on the history of Oflag VI B Dössel. She published her findings in "Łambinowice Museum Yearbook" (volumes: 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 12). She also participated in the work of the Editorial Committee of this periodical, in particular on volumes: 4, 10, 11 and 12.
