Romanian film about the Old Prisoner-of-War Cemetery in Łambinowice

As a result of the recently received formal approval, today we present the film 2607, which was announced in the coverage of the January visit of the Romanian Ambassador to Poland Ovidiu Dranga (https://www.cmjw.pl/en/news/re-visit-of-the-romanian-ambassador,85.html).

The film is the effect of work of the Studioul Cinematografic al MApN team, which shot it during their visit in Łambinowice at the beginning of October last year. The documentary is about the Old Prisoner-of-War Cemetery in Łambinowice, the necropolis holding the ashes of the largest number of Romanian soldiers from World War I in Europe – the titled  2607.

In Romania, the film received a wide recognition. It was published on the website of the Romanian Ministry of Defence (27.11.2020) and was broadcast on national television. The Łambinowice premiere was held on January 22 this year in a small group, with the participation of Romanian Ambassador to Poland Ovidiu Dranga.
