On 10 July 2024, the Director of the Museum, Dr. Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska was hosted by the Starosta of the Nysa County, Daniel Palimąka. The purpose of the visit was to discuss prospects for cooperation.

Let us remind you that Łambinowice is a commune within the administrative structure of the Nysa County. This fact resonates occasionally during events connected with the Museum, when, for example, representatives of the Nysa County’s Office come to attend the commemorations of various anniversaries.

Not limiting the relations to visits, it is necessary to outline a plan of combined efforts and its updating, especially there has been a change in the office of Starosta. During the working meeting with Starosta Daniel Palimąka, there were discussed all – currently envisaged – areas of cooperation with the Museum. There are not only the anniversary commemorations of the outbreak of World War II and the arrival of the first transport of Warsaw insurgents at Stalag 344 Lamsdorf in the pipeline, but also educational, research, exhibition, promotional and infrastructural initiatives.

Starosta Daniel Palimąka also accepted an invitation to join the Council for Protection of the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice. This year's council meeting is scheduled for the first half of September.
