
Visit of representatives of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) in Łambinowice
Yesterday, 6 July, the Museum in Łambinowice hosted representatives of the Bureau for Commemoration of Struggle and Martyrdom by the Institute of National Remembrance from Warsaw: its Director, Adam Siwek, his deputy, Joanna Piskorz, and Mateusz Niegowski.
It was a working visit and it concerned the state of remembrance in the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice, in particular the monuments in the Old Cemetery of Prisoners-of-War in Łambinowice, the Cemetery of the Soviet POWs, and most of all, the Monument of the Warsaw Insurgents – POWs of Stalag 344 Lamsdor.
During the visit, the Director, Dr. Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska, also introduced the guests to the Museum's exhibition.
