Today we celebrate Museum Workers Day

On the occasion of the International Museum Workers Day, we wish all our fellow museum professionals success, inspiration, satisfaction from what they do, and energy for the future!

An opportunity to talk about ideas and plans, in, after all, a somewhat less formal –  holiday –  atmosphere arouse during today's meeting, which, at the invitation of Deputy Marshall, Zbigniew Kubalańca, was attended by directors of museums from Opole. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska who represented our institution. There were congratulations  offered on their hands, which we gladly present.

Our team celebrated the Day with a meeting with Adam Szpaderski, professor at the SWPS Humanities and Social Sciences of the University in Warsaw, management researcher, creator and head of the Center for Research on the Economics of Memorial Sites, author of a study containing the results of the strategic audit of our Museum, which will be soon published in the 43rd volume of the “Łambinowice Museum Yearbook”.

Another important event is scheduled for 6 p.m.: a webinar entitled The Museum as a Social Actor featuring of our Director, Dr. Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska, and Dr. Anna Czerner (from the Research Department). It is dedicated to the important role in the functioning of museums in social engagement and their  responsibility. You can still sign up for the meeting, which is organized in cooperation with the Research Circle of Interdisciplinary European Activities at the W. Brandt Centre for German and European Studies (Wroclaw University), by using the form at https://www.facebook.com/events/1147350579114782/.
