The website of the 'League of Prisoner of War Remembrance' Network has been launched
In June 2022, we announced a strategic initiative called the 'League of Prisoner of War Remembrance' Network, spearheading the leading role of this consortium and assuming responsibility for further steps in its development. Today, we are pleased to announce that the League is launching its website.
There are clearly explained the Network’s aims; let us remind you once again that the main objective is cooperation in the scope of dissemination of the knowledge about history of POWs and related issues. In addition, it presents the most important issues that characterise the undertaking: the lines of action, the composition of the Consortium Council and the Honorary Convent, as well as the founding members. The essence of the initiative is its dynamism, as indicated by the very term 'Network', and therefore the website will systematically present the profiles of the successive institutions and individuals joining it.
We hope that this solution will facilitate the establishment and maintenance of relations between the members of the consortium, and also - for everyone - will be an important platform of knowledge, bringing together in one place information about POW camps and memorials related to them.
