The Museum's new mission and vision

Works on the Museum's development strategy are underway. Discussions led by a team and advisors: Associate Professor Adam Szpaderski, an academic at the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Bartosz Bartyzel of Creative Motion Group, have produced a new form of mission and vision.

The mission is limited to three words: WE KNOW, WE REMEMBER, WE WARN.

The vision, on the other hand, reads as follows:

As a leader in the remembrance of prisoners-of-war, we want to assiduously research and bring closer the fate of soldiers, in particular in the German and Soviet captivity, as well as protect the traces of people held in the camps that existed at the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice. We listen to people and believe that freedom should be taught.

We will keep you informed about further results of the work on the new strategy.
