The last premier of Museum's film series

Today we would like to invite, for the twelfth time in this year, to the premier of a "... but that' a different story now 2" film. The episode Zapiski z Łambinowic [Notes from Łambinowice] reminds that the histor of the former camps at the present Site of National Remembrance did not end with the entry the Red Army into Lamsdorf.

The film featuring yet another museum object – a notebook from our Museum's collection – tells the fate of the German population of Silesia, who, in anticipation of their resettlement deep into Germany, were sent to the Labour Camp in Łambinowice.

The twelfth instalment of the "...but a different story now 2" series wraps up a two-year cycle of presenting 24 museum objects carefully selected from our collections, whose interesting stories are known now not only to the museum staff.

We would like to remind you that our film series was possible to make thanks to funding from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. It is produced according to the concept of Dr. Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska by Sławomir Mielnik.

You are welcome to watch the film:
