The final of XXXII edition of the recitation competition. We announce the results!

Today, 11 April, at the Museum’s seat in Łambinowice, was held the finale of the 32nd edition of POWs Poetry Recitation Competition ‘Let us not lose our memory’. It was entered by ninety-four pupils from the Opole Province who performed in the three age categories.

The competition, co-organised by our Museum and the Association of Friends of the CMJW, enjoyed the honorary patronage of the Voivode of Opole Voivodeship, Monika Jurek, the Marshal of Opole Voivodeship, Szymon Ogłaza, the Starost of Opole County Henryk Lakwa, and the Opole Voivodeship Superintendent of Education, Joanna Raźniewska.

The performances were evaluated by the Jury consisting of Opole-based theatre actors, poets and philologists: Edmund Borzemski, Dr. Ludmiła Małgorzata Sobolewska, Elżbieta Lisak-Duda, Adriana Jarosz, Iwona Ratajczak, Barbara Grzegorczyk, Waldemar Kotas, Leszek Malec and Beata Wnęk-Malec.

The jurors decided to award the following prizes:

  • Grades 4-6:

First Prize – Wiktor Bednarski from Szkoła Podstawowa No.2 in Korfantów, taught by Agnieszka Andrejszyn;

Second Prize – Stefania Lacek from Publiczna Szkoła Podstawowa in Luboszyce, taught by przez Justyna Kasprzyk-Ressel;

Third Prize – Nina Antoszak from Publiczna Szkoła Podstawowa in Luboszyce, taught by Justyna Kasprzyk-Ressel;

Distinction – Karol Kowalski from Publiczna Szkoła Podstawowa in Głuchołazy, taught by Joanna Janusz;

  • Grades 7-8:

First Prize – Franciszek Dajczak from Publiczna Szkoła Podstawowa No.5 in Kluczbork, taught by Urszula Baron-Gocha;

Second Prize – Magdalena Rupacz from Zespół Szkolno-Przedszkolny in Krośnica, taught by Brygida Hurek;

Third Prize – Nina Janik from Zespół Szkolno-Przedszkolny in Krośnicy, taught by Adriana Jarosz;

Distinction – Emilia Lacek from Publiczna Szkoła Podstawowa in Luboszyce, taught by Justyna Kasprzyk-Ressel;

  • Grades 9-12:

First Prize – Maria Czollek from Katolickie Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Opolu, taught by Aneta Mościcka;

Second Prize – Marta Popów from Liceum Ogólnokształcące No.3 in Opolu, taught by Iwona Ratajczak;

Third Prize – Emilia Jarosz from Publiczne Liceum Ogólnokształcące No. 2 in Opolu, taught by Joanna Nazarkiewicz;

Distinction – Aneta Wieszala from Zespół Szkół Ekonomicznych in Nysie, taught by Edyta Kościelak.

The teachers who prepared the winners received letters of gratitude and all participants received diplomas of participation.
