The Association of Friends of the CMJW has a logo

The Museum is not the only one institution that fine-tuning its visual identity system. We are joined by the Association of Friends of the Central Museum of Prisoners-of-War (SPCMJW), which has recently got a logotype.

The Cracow-based Studio Widok is responsible for the design of the SPCMJW logo. The same brand design studio is behind the Museum's visual identity, thanks to which a logical, conceptually coherent effect of it is starting to take effect now.  The authors of the graphic mark used the image of the Monument to the Martyrdom of Prisoners-of-War that was scaled down to simple, strong lines, replacing one of the graphic pylons with a geometrised heart. This very accurately reflects the idea of the Association, which, after all, as a public benefit organization, brings together people sympathetic to the Museum and supporting its activities through various means. The Association's logo, like our institution's graphic mark, is available in several forms: without typography, with typography limited to the acronym and with the full name of the organisation - we present them below.

By the way, as the deadline for the tax year is approaching, we would like to encourage all who still have this obligation ahead of them to donate 1.5% of their income tax to the Association of Friends of the CMJW. Thanks to your donations, this well-performing, non-profit organisation can develop and implement further interesting ideas, including social projects related to history and civic education.
