'Test for Presence' exhibition presented in Museum until 7 November

Photographs by Slawoj Dubiel, taken in the ruins of the barracks of Stalag 318/VIII F (344) Lamsdorf, will be presented at the Opole seat of the Museum for longer than originally announced. The works of the holder of the 'Marshal's Talents' will be displayed in Opole until 7 November this year.

The 'Test for Presence' exhibition was officially opened on 30 September as part of the 12th Opole Photo Festival. The event was attended both by people interested in the traces of the former presence in Stalag 318/VIII F (344) of thousands of prisoners-of-war from various countries, and by a large group of photographers who esteem Sławoj Dubiel. The author of the photographs.

Let us remind you that Sławoj Dubiel is a member of the Union of Polish Art Photographers, co-founder of the Photographic Workshop Foundation 2.8., co-organiser of the Opole Photo Festival. For years, with passion and his inseparable camera, he has been recording and documenting the changes taking place in the life of the region, and an important place in his work is occupied by photographing the memorial site in Łambinowice.

The exhibition can be seen until from Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
