Seminar at Szutow has been attended by Museum's representatives

After a two-year break caused by the pandemic, the Stutthof Museum in Sztutowo and the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum have again organised a Polish museum professionals’ seminar (the 11th-13th edition) – the Remembrance Forum. The event, which lasted from 6 to 9 September, was also attended by employees of the CMJW.

The seminar, as each year, provided an opportunity to present research, exhibit, educational, conservatory and popularisation activities of individual museums, and, at the same time, the integration of the museum community.

Speeches by the CMJW's representatives were given on Thursday, 8 September. Dr. Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska (Director of the Museum) and Dr. Anna Czerner (from the Research Department) delivered a lecture on Place as a witness, exhibit and context – challenges of the work on the new exhibition of the Central Museum of Prisoners-of-War. Iwona Cichoń-Halot, MA, (from the Archives) by presenting the theme of Virtual tour of the Museum and the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice – a solution not only for difficult times, encouraged – we join her in it – to visit the website https://panorama.cmjw.pl and download (from online Play shop) a free application Museum in site of remembrance. We visit Łambinowice on mobile devices.

Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the seminar!
