Purchase of furniture
Thanks to the Ministry's Infrastructure of Culture scheme, the Museum received funding for the modernisation of its building in Łambinowice later this year. The pieces of furniture purchased for the offices have already arrived at its destination and are currently being arranged according to a previously prepared interior design.
Funding from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage's Cultural Promotion Fund amounted to PLN 286,000, that corresponds to 80 per cent of the total cost, and was set out in agreement no. 03411/23/FPK/DSA. The first delivery of furniture included such office equipment as wall cabinets, bookcases and desks, among others.
This investment, indispensable for the daily and efficient functioning of the Museum, was co-financed from funds of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Fund for the Promotion of Culture - a state special purpose fund within the task 'Purchase of equipment for the modernisation of the building of the Central Museum of Prisoners-of-War in Łambinowice located at 4 Muzealna Street'.
