Photos from the Museum’s collection in Serbian book

We are pleased to inform you that on the publishing market has appeared an interesting publication Serbs – prisoners-of-war in German camps 1915-1919. A list of deceased dedicated to Serbian prisoners-of-war in German captivity during World War I. The book was published by the Museum of Genocide Victims in Belgrade and it authors, Nenad Lukić, Milan Tlačinac, stay in touch with us.

As a result of the cooperation with the Museum some archival photos from the CMJW depicting the Serbian prisoners-of-war in the Lamsdorf POW camp, have been included in the book. One of them is shown on the book's cover. The publication (In Serbian) can be downloaded for free at:  https://www.muzejgenocida.rs/pdf/Nemacki%20logori2.pdf.

This is not the only example of our Museum’s involvement in guarding the memory of Serbian prisoners. Anyone who fallows our Museum website and Facebook, knows the efforts of our institution to preserve the Serbian graves from WWW I and the Monument of the Serbian POWs at the Old Prisoners-of-War Cemetery in Łambinowice, in the best possible condition.
