
Open-air poetry workshop at remembrance site
It has been more than nine years since the last open-air poetry workshop at the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice. On Saturday, 1 October, members of the Opole branch of the Polish Writers' Union will again visit the Museum.
The programme includes a visit to the Museum, the post-camp grounds and the war cemeteries, a meeting with the journalist and writer Emil Marat who explores the fate of Roman Bratny, as and a lecture by Dr. Piotr Stanek on Father Maximilian Kolbe. Guests will also be provided with the opportunity to see selected short films from the "...but that's a different story now" series.
