Online conference with participation of Museum employee

Yesterday, 20 May, The Poles in the western occupation zones in Germany, 1945-1949 science conference, was held by The Institute of National Remembrance's Poznań Branch, and the Western Institute of Zygmunt Wojciechowski.

The purpose of the meeting was to present the latest research results related to the presence of Poles in Germany after the end of World War II, hence the participation of Dr. Piotr Stanek, Head of the Research Department of the CMJW, whose scientific interests also include this issue.

Our representative spoke at the Poles in Uniform panel, with a lecture on the post-war Polish Military Centre Lübeck, established on the site of the German Oflag X C Lübeck, where Polish, French, Belgian, British and Serbian officers were held from June 1940 to 2 May 1945.
