One of the most important anniversaries is on this Friday!

In just a few days, on Friday (187 March) will take a ceremony related to the 78th anniversary of the liberation of Stalag 344 Lamsdorf. As usually, participants of the event will gather in front of the Monument to the Martyrdom of Prisoners-of-War in Łambinowice. The commencement of the event is at 12.00.

The participation has already been confirmed by many guests, including representatives of the state and local government authorities, and military services. As every year, we will also be honoured with the presence of delegations from the diplomatic corps, including those countries whose soldiers were held at Lamsdorf. Representation of witnesses and families of former prisoners-of-war of Stalag 344 Lamsdorf will also be present.

The commemoration enjoys the honorary patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Prof. Piotr Gliński, the Opole Voivode, Adrian Czubak, and, the Marshal of Opole Voivodship, Andrzej Bula, as well as, the media patronage of TVP 3 Opole, Radio Opole S.A., Radio DOXA, "Nowa Trybuna Opolska” and "Nowiny Nyskie”.
