The next Culture Night is upcoming. It will take place on 28 June and, judging by the programme of it, will be abundant in attractions and interesting cultural and entertainment experiences. Opole's institutions, entrepreneurs, associations and organisations have prepared almost 50 very diverse events: workshops, exhibitions, thematic walks, outdoor games, performances, concerts... Among them is an offer of our Museum.

Visitors to the Museum during the Culture Night will familiarize themselves with practical archaeological methods of discovering the secrets of history. We will try to show how crucial clues might be found just underground or a little deeper, as well as among vegetation or in various unevenness of the terrain. The event will begin with the opening of the exhibition entitled "Lamsdorf/Łambinowice. Archaeology at the Site of Remembrance", followed by the workshop "What Happened Here?!". A total of three groups will be participating in the activities, and the idea is to engage the participants in them in the most possible way.

Later, from 9 p.m. onwards, a behind-the-scenes documentary about archaeological works will be screened – it is a 30-minute long, very successful film by Daniel Frymark. Moreover, we have prepared something interesting with prizes, for old and young alike - The Sensory Challenge "Touch the Past".
