New exhibition Spring, summer, WAR... Warsaw 1939

From the Saturday Night of Museums, 15 May, at our seat in Opole, one can see a new temporary exhibition  Spring, summer, WAR... Warsaw 1939, prepared by the Warsaw History Meeting House.

The exhibition consists of photographs which feature the pre-war life of Warsaw residents, and later images of the siege, occupation and capitulation. Their uniqueness lies primarily in the fact that they were taken in different ways and from different perspectives: official, private and propaganda, and that their authors are war correspondents: American Julian Bryan, Pole Sylwester Braun "Kris", and German Wilhelm Haas Lampe.

You are invited to see it from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibition will be on display in Opole until September.
