Today, at the 32nd session of the Opole Regional Assembly in the White Eagle Conference Room of the Opole Province Marshal's Office, the activities of our Museum, among other things, were presented. The report dealt primarily with the years 2018-2020, and was another one that the local government cultural institution submitted to the councillors. 

The presentation was made by the director, Dr. Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska. First, she characterized the institution and explained its specificity. She also recalled its statutory goals, and then briefly discussed its substantive activities, noting its numerous successes in collecting, processing, preserving and making available its collections. The Director also mentioned the Museum’s research, publishing, educational and exhibition activity, as well as commemoration work, an important manifestation of which are the ceremonies at the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice, such as tomorrow's laying of flowers and lighting candles in front of the Monument to the Martyrdom of Prisoners-of-War on the 82nd anniversary of the outbreak of World War II. The Director also presented the most important information concerning the infrastructure of the Museum, its budget and employment. She concluded her speech by outlining tasks for the near future.

The presentation was listened to by councillors with interest. The Director accepted words of recognition for the whole staff and wishes for perseverance and further success, as well as assurance of support.
