Meeting of the Museum Council

Yesterday, 29 June, the annual meeting of the Museum Council at the Central Museum of Prisoners of War for the 2018-2022 term was held. The meeting, conducted in hybrid mode, commenced with a minute of silence in memory of the late members of the Council who died in the last year: Czesław Kantorczyk (died on 15.08.2020), and who attended its works during two terms (2015-2018), and Professor Stanisław Senft (died on 14.04.2021) who was involved in the Council's activity during three terms (2007-2011, 2011-2015, 2015-2018), among others, as Chairman.

The main part of the meeting, headed by the Chairman of the Council, Professor Marek Masnyk, Rector of the Opole University, was dedicated to the summary of the Museum's activity in 2020 and its plan for 2021.
