"Lamsdorf Station" on TVP Historia
We are happy to announce that tomorrow on TVP Historia channel will be broadcast a film, made last year by our Museum, entitled Lamsdorf Station. The Warsaw insurgents in captivity.
At 12.05, viewers will be able to see this important for us documentary, which is a record of the memory of the days spent behind the barbed wire of the Lamsdorf camp. It is the witnesses’ memory of those events, and families for whom the war memories of their parents are still vivid. The film, directed by Mirosław Basaj, had its premiere on 6 October, 2020, during the ceremony of the 76th anniversary of the arrival of the first transport of the Warsaw insurgents to Stalag 344 Lamsdorf.
The next opportunity to watch the documentary on public television will be on 17 March of this year – TVP Historia, at 5.50 p.m. (on the anniversary of liberation of Stalag 344 Lamsdorf).
