Jan Ziemba has passed away
Today, at the Municipal Cemetery at Cmentarna Street in Opole, we said goodbye to a friend of the Museum – Jan Ziemba (19.09.1950-30.03.2021), a man of Opole business, who with great kindness and understanding was addressing to the needs of our institution and willingly participated in the activities of the Museum. Mr. Jan, as the founder and owner of J & H Ziemba Trading, Service and Production Company, which he successfully developed together with his wife Halina, has collaborated with us for over 10 years, also in creating permanent and temporary exhibitions and equipping our Opole seat with furniture. Polite, always ready for new challenges, he used to say with modestly that working for museums brings him pleasure. No task was beyond him – it was only just a challenge which had to be faced with.
He will always be remembered as such.
