From 6 to 19 December, at our Museum seats in Łambinowice and Opole are organised history and art workshops "Tasks with Christmas. 1939-1945". The youngest pupils of primary schools (grades 1-3) and preschoolers can take part in them.
During the workshops participants will learn how Christmas Time was celebrated by Polish soldiers detained in German prisoners-of-war camps during Second World War. Did they manage, away from their families, to create a substitute for a homely atmosphere? Above all, children taking part in the activities will create Christmas decorations and ornaments with their own hands. The results of their work, which they will then take home, are sure to delight recipients of the gifts.
The workshops will be held in Łambinowice (4 Muzealna St.) and Opole (3 Minorytów St.). Duration is 45 minutes and the cost is PLN 9 per child. If you are interested, please contact: Department of Education and Exhibitions, tel: 77 434 34 75, e-mail: email@example.com.
You are welcome to participate!
