I love You, see You… is now available on YouTube

The videos prepared regularly by the well-known populariser of history Łukasz Kazek are one of the most highly-rated channels on Youtube in Poland called ‘History Story’. The team of the journalist, who comes from Wałbrzych, came to Łambinowice once again on 12 February this year. This time to make a Valentine's Day episode.

The premiere of the film, which took its title from our temporary exhibition ‘I love You, see You...’, took place on 18 February 2025. We have high expectations for the film, given that the YouTuber's promotional episode for the Museum entitled ‘Place with a Scar’, produced a year ago, was viewed 137,000 times. It was paid for, but soon afterwards Łukasz Kazek came to us once again, this time on his own initiative, to prepare a film about Czesław Gęborski, the commandant of the Łambinowice Labour Camp. This footage was seen by 238,000 viewers.

This year's visit to the Museum, that was not made on a commercial basis, was in the pipeline of the ‘History Story’ production team thanks to the involvement of Dr. Kamil Weber, who co-authored the exhibition and catalogue ‘I love You, see You…’. It resulted in a 26-minute film in which Łukasz Kazek presents our exhibition and the museum artefacts made available in it to viewers, and talks at length and with flair about love relationships developed under conditions of captivity during wartime.

The film is available here. We warmly invite you to watch and comment it.
