Bracelet from Lamsdorf. Invitation to the film!

A bracelet with a dog tag, which belonged to Zofia Arcimowicz (1922-2000), is one of those museum objects about which we know quite a lot, as well as about the person to whom it was linked.

This simple bracelet, consisting of a metal dog tag and a piece of leather strap, was given to our collection in 2011 by Andrzej Arcimowicz, son of the heroine of the 10th episode of the "...but that's a different story now 2" film series. Zofia Arcimowicz was a soldier of the Home Army, participant of the Warsaw Uprising (codename "Zula"), prisoner-of-war in Stalags: 344 Lamsdorf (now Łambinowice), IV B Mühlberg and IV A Hohnstein. Who made it and under what circumstances? What was the life of the young Varsovian woman like during the war, German occupation and captivity? This is what the film, which premiered just today, is about.

We would like to remind you that our film series was possible to make thanks to funding from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. It is produced according to the concept of Dr. Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska by Sławomir Mielnik.

You are welcome to watch the film:

Kolejny odcinek: 28 listopada.
