Honours for Wanda Traczyk-Stawska

Wanda Traczyk-Stawska is a soldier of the Home Army, Warsaw Uprising insurgent, prisoner-of-war of Stalag 344 Lamsdorf, and social activist. She is also a guest of honour and heroine of meetings and commemorations organized by the Museum. To the many decorations, awards and titles already conferred on Ms. Wanda, two more have been added in recent days.

Yesterday, 23 May, she received the Jan Rodowicz ,,Anoda” honorary award, established by the Warsaw Uprising Museum. The laureate's achievements, such as promoting the memory of the Warsaw Uprising among young people and making young people aware of how important value is peace, were recognized.

Today, however, during a great multimedia gala organized by the editors of "Wysokie Obcasy", Ms. Wanda was awarded the title of "Superheroine" - for her brave and wise attitude and strong condemnation of hatred!

Congratualtions!
