February in the Museum: you are welcome to view our exibitions
This month provides the last opportunity to see the temporary exhibitions we present. We invite you to two open-air exhibitions that are on view in front of the museum building in Lambinowice: "The Face of Courage. Witold Pilecki (1901-1948)" and "#StolenMemory". In Opole, on the other hand, the exhibition "Encounters. With the history of Polish children of Siberia" is hosted.
The exhibition devoted to Witold Pilecki is a proposal especially for walkers, who do not even have to bother about the museum's opening hours in order to see it, as it is open to the public right in front of the Museum. It presents, in a concise manner, the most important pages of Rotmistrz's biography, although his POW episode is not exposed. The latter exhibition - commemorating the fate of victims of Nazism and the objects belonging to them - is hosted in a shipping container adapted for museum purposes and can be visited during the Museum's opening hours. Similarly, the works of young artists, inspired by the story of Polish children rescued from Bolshevik terror, are on display in the temporary exhibition hall at the Museum's Opole seat at 3 Minorytów Street.
You are welcome to visit them! Admission is free!
