All the venues will commence at 9.30 p.m., 25 May, exactly 73 years from the execution of Capitan Witold Pilecki.

The place of the ceremony in Łambninowice is not coincidental. The rich biography of the hero also includes events connected with his stay in Stalag 344 Lamsdorf (Lambinowice), where he got after the fall of the Warsaw Uprising. Representatives of our Museum, together with the IPN officials, will take part in the ceremony.

The anniversary of the death of Captain Witold Pilecki coincided with a working visit of the senator of the Republic of Poland, Kazimierz Ujazdowski, who was present at both seats of the CMJW, and while visiting the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice, he lit a candle in front of the Monument to Warsaw Insurgents - Prisoners of War Stalag 344 Lamsdorf.
