Europe starts here – a photo contest
Works for the international photo contest "Europe starts here" can be submitted until March 14. The leitmotif is to be both, the places marked with the European Heritage Label, and events and activities taking place in them to promote the common European heritage. Since 2013, only 48 places have been awarded the prestigious label. Among them, from 2019, is also the Museum and the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice.
The competition is open. Professional photographers, as well as amateur photo lovers, can participate in it. The competitors will be divided into two age groups: under 30 and over 30. The winners will be chosen by public vote and will be announced on May 9th on the European Union Day.
The competition was initiated by the City of Lublin and organized by the EHL@N project, a consortium of 19 partners represented by the project leader, Burghauptmannschaft Österreich (which manages the Hofburg Imperial Palace in Vienna) and the Association of European Heritage Sites, based in Vienna.
The contest details and its rules can be found at https://lublin.eu/kultura/informacje/wiadomosci/europa-zaczyna-sie-tutaj-konkurs-fotograficzny,2881,41,1.html.
Good luck and we prompt you to take your contest photos in Łaminowice.
