
Employees of the Museum in conference on the Katyń Massacre
From Monday to Tuesday (26-27 April) the participants of the conference The Katyn Massacre in perception of Polonia and international community, discussed the perceiving – in view of the recent research and findings – of the tragic events of 81 years ago.
To the conference, organized on the initiative of the Faculty of Humanities at the Koszalin University of Technology, were invited, among others, employees of the Research Department of the CMJW, who deal with different aspects of the influence of the Katyn Massacre on history and politics. Maria Bula discussed the issue of Katyń after years – the crime through the eyes of German press and politicians in the years 2010-2020, while Dr. Kamil Weber delivered a lecture Advocate in the Western World - Janusz Zawodny's research on the Katyn Massacre.
The conference was held online, under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, and the Head of the Office for War Veterans and Victims of Repression.
