Call for volunteers for the Archive

To be a volunteer in the Archive of the CMJW is an attractive offer not only for students of the humanities, but all history lovers who are interested in the work of, among other things, digitalizing of archival materials or answering queries. The volunteering can be started as early as April this year.

During your time in one of the most important departments of the Museum, the Archive, there is no way to be bored. Above all, it is a contact with unique, archival records and documents, and an opportunity to learn and conduct how to conduct digitalizing, entering data into database, conducting queries for the people who search for information about their relatives-prisoners-of-war, or transcribing video recordings of conversations with witnesses of history (in the latter case, due to the specific nature of the task, it is possible to work online). You can therefore not only spend time usefully, but also learn a lot.

From a candidate we expect to be a conscientious, dedicated and thorough volunteer. It would be nice to be a history lover. If you meet these requirements and are at least secondary school age, please contact Dominik Marcinkowski: tel. (+48) 77 453 78 72, e-mail: .

At the end of their cooperation, volunteers will receive a reference and a certificate of their voluntary work.
