An important scientific conference will be held in Olsztyn
On behalf of the Wojciech Kętrzyński Northern Institute and the Wojciech Kętrzyński Scientific Society, we would like to inform you that the two-day International Scientific Conference 'German camps in the years 1939-1945 in memoirs and documents – the current state of research' will start on 23 November. Applications for participation in the event can be sent by 15 July.
The conference is addressed to everybody who is interested in the broadly understood subject of camps, including the functioning during World War 2 concentration and prisoners-of-war camps, forced labour, war memoirs, and innovative methods of researching sites of remembrance. The event is an opportunity to meet, share experiences of ongoing researches and organised projects, and establish cooperation among institutions, researches and enthusiasts of the subject matter associated with camps.
