The collection of the Museum constantly grows, and an essential part of it is made up of family memorabilia which have been donated by private donors in response to our collection appeal under the slogan “Saved memorabilia, Preserved memory”.

After digitalization of the received objects, the donors are presented with albums with images of the memorabilia and their inventory numbers, as well a CD with their digital record. Only in the years 2020-2021 have been given as many as 52 albums. This manner of acknowledgement is highly appreciated by the donors. It is proved by numerous email messages, letters, call phones, and even visits to the Museum. Recently, there have been especially many of them, because another batch of albums has reached the hands of donors.

The campaign “Saved Memorabilia, Preserved Memory” is continued! We would like to remind you that the Museum accepts all kinds of artefacts - objects used or made in captivity, documents, correspondence, drawings, photographs, clothes, etc., regardless of their state of preservation.
