About Museum in Tygodnik Powszechny

The New Year's edition of Tygodnik Powszechny will feature a special supplement entitled 'Prisoners. A forgotten page of history', which is being produced in collaboration with our Museum.

In the announced issue of the magazine, you can read the transcript of a conversation between Dr. Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska and editor Michał Sowiński on the functioning of POW camps, their specifics and selected interesting themes. There will also be featured recollections of a witness - Wanda Traczyk-Stawska - a participant of the Warsaw Uprising, one of the many women who in 1944 were sent to German prisoner-of-war camps and spent Christmas there, about which (and not only) Ms. Wanda, in an engaging manner and vividly, speaks about. Readers may also find interesting the perspectives of historians, academics, reporters and book authors, teachers and community activists as they look at our Museum. Reading the supplement will also provide information about our institution's publishing activities.

The New Year's issue of the weekly magazine, including the supplement, will go on sale on 28 December! We encourage you to read it!
