A huge interest in the Faces of Opole

The May episode of the series, wherein the invited guest was Tadeusz Jacek Rogoża, an educator and social activist, who has been for years engaged, among other things, in popularising the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice, took place.

The numerous attendees were welcomed by the director of the Museum, Dr. Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska. She introduced to them the guest of the event and Mariusz Majeran, a journalist of Radio Opole who, from that moment, carried on with the conversation with Tadeusz Jacek Rogoża.

Both of them talked in detail about the career path and longtime social activity of Tadeusz Jacek Rogoża, which began in 1959. They mainly drew attention to his organisational, tourism, and those related to the protection of historical monuments, activities. There were also reflections on the social work and current activities and plans of the guest of the event, who in 2015, at the request of the CMJW, was awarded in the ‘Opole Voivodeship’ Social Activist of the Year" competition. A testimony of Tadeusz Jacek Rogoza's considerable contribution to the social life of Opole residents are not only numerous awards and acknowledgements, but above all a very large circle of friends, which filled our hall yesterday – 26 May.
