Temporary exhibitions

The exhibition,  created by the European Commission, depicts chosen places and objects whose histories bring universal notion calling to respect of human dignity, human rights and humanitarianism – values considered to be basis of European integration  process. Amon the places, you can find: The Heart of Ancient Athens, Archaeological Area of Ostia Antica, Zdravljica - the Message of the European Spring of Nations, in Poland: Gdańsk Shipyard, Constitution of May 3, 1791, or World War I Eastern Front Cemetery No. 123 in Łużna-Pustki.

Since March this year, the use of the honorable title of the European Heritage Label is also granted to the Central Museum of Prisoners-of-War and the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice. The expositions is enhanced by historical documents and artifacts consisting of reach history of the Museum and explaining importance of the place to building identity of contemporary Europeans.
