The realization of our many-year task called “Reconstruction of the building of the Museum in Łambinowice at 4 Muzealna Street, together with improvement of the surrounding area” is coming to an end. Now, there are works of the last stage carried out: construction of a carpark designed for passenger cars.

The lack of a suitable place to leave cars makes for visitors to the Museum a big problem. The narrow and devoid of parking bays Muzealna Street and the cobbled front yard that is visually integrated with the Museum building, yet provides no parking space, do not meet the motorists’ needs. This situation, however, will have changed in the near future as there is a carpark being built for passenger cars.

The whole of the enterprise has been accomplished by the company Tilbud Ltd. of Grodków which had been selected as the most advantageous tender. The firm is responsible for building the carpark with lighting, pavements and a retention pool. The investment was additionally financed with the means of the budget of Opole Voivodeship and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage within the framework of the task called “Reconstruction of the building of the Museum in Łambinowice at 4 Muzealna Street together with improvement of the surrounding area”. The total value of the financing amounts to: PLN 649 500, of which PLN 370 000 was provided by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, while PLN 279 500 came from the Local Government.
