The deadline for finishing the construction work related to the second stage of the investment entitled "Redevelopment of the Museum building in Łambinowice at 4 Muzealna Street together with improvement of the surroundings", has been extended to  April 15, 2022.

The works on the new entrance hall of the Museum, which consist of completion and installation works, finishing service routes between floors and elevation of the building, will be extended for three and a half months because of problems of the contractor, Zakład Techniczno-Budowlany POLBAU Sp. z o.o., related to the pandemic. The extension of the deadline is allowed by the provisions of the Act of 2 March 2020. "on special solutions related to prevention, counteraction and combating COVID-19, other infectious diseases and crisis situations caused by them".

Let us remind you that the ongoing works are the second stage of the construction works started in 2019. Their main purpose is to introduce significant functional and organisational changes in the Łambinowice seat, including the creation of an entrance area for visitors and adaptation of the building to the needs of people with physical disabilities. It is also intended to construct, in subsequent stages, educational rooms, collection storerooms, and in the renovated exhibition halls – a new exposition. 

Funds for the investment come from the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport, and Opole Province.
