Recitation Contest on the list of the Local Education Authority
The Recitation Contest of POW poetry under the title “Let us not lose memory”, which is organized by our Museum, is addressed to students of primary and secondary schools based in Opole Voivodeship. This year it will be held for the 33rd time. Good news for the participants is the fact that it has been entered on the list of the Chief Education Officer of Opole Province.
In practice, it means that the laureates, that is the students who take the first three places in each of the age category, will be granted the so-called recruitment points. This is of special importance particularly to ambitious candidates who apply for admission in schools and classes regarded as the most competitive. Even very good grades obtained in their schools to date may not prove sufficient enough to commence education in the school they would like to attend.
In order to take part in the Contest, the interested competitors should send their applications by 20 March (you can download the entry form and the contest rules here). Reciters will meet for the Contest Final held at Łambinowice seat of the Museum on 17 April 2026.
