On 24 May our Museum will be closed
Respected Visitors! We kindly inform you that on this coming Sunday, 24 May, the seat of our Museum in Łambinowice will be closed.
Anyway, we encourage everybody to visit the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice, which remains available for individual sightseeing. It offers an exceptional space of memory and reflections as it is connected with the histories of former POW camps that functioned in this area. We particularly recommend to see the open-air display called “A place with a scar”, presented in the grounds of former Stalag 318/VIII F (344) Lamsdorf. The exhibition allows better getting familiar with the history of the place and the fates of POWs of different nationalities.
The exhibition can be reached by car from the village of Szadurczyce or along Muzealna Street — on foot or by bicycle following the forest route.
