Łambinowice Community and Museum help refugees

Since March 8, refugees from Ukraine have been staying in  guest rooms of the Łambinowice seat of the Museum. Their stay is the result of an agreement with the Commune, which, according to official data (as of March 10, 2022) has given assistance to a total of 21 people who fled from war.

The rooms of the Museum are currently being occupied by six refugees: three women and three children. They came from the neighbourhood of Lviv. Their stay is described as temporary, and plans for the future, including the near one, have not been defined yet. We do our best to ensure that the time, spend far away from their homeland, invaded by the Russian Federation, passes peacefully for the Museum guests. On its part, Łambinowice Commune provides catering. Procedures are also underway to enable the children to participate in school activities.
