Jubilee mementos
We are deeply moved by the number and unique worth of the proofs of recognition, congratulations and wishes that we received on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of our Museum. Inspiring, original letters of thanks for many-year cooperation, official diplomas, special statuettes and prestigious medals – all of them prove that the work done by the Museum makes sense and is understood as well as appreciated by the public.
During the jubilee celebrations held on 3 December at Opole Philharmonic Hall that was the venue of the exceptional occasion and on 4 December at the seat of the Museum in Łambinowice we heard a great number of appreciative and motivating opinions on our work, which undoubtedly have provided peculiar encouragement not to cease to make efforts.
Sharing with you images of the received occasional letters and mementos, we wish to thank you for all of them as well as to pass on the energy flowing from the received congratulations. We are not alone regarding our mission that reads: “We learn. We remember. We warn”. We address the following words to our Colleagues Museologists, families of former Prisoners of War, officials, social activists and experts of so many institutions, associations and environments cooperating with our Museum: We thank you for accompanying us on this historical mission, for being with us and actively supporting our efforts!
