What do local government-run cultural institutions offer to schools? Invitation to an education seminar

You can register now for the education seminar We need each other. What do local government-run cultural institutions offer schools?, which will be held online on 24 February on Facebook. The venue is organised by our Museum and initiated by the Marshal of Opole Province, Andrzej Buła.

The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen cooperation between cultural and educational institutions and to exchange experiences, ideas and expectations. Participants of the seminar, including teachers of humanities (of all school types), educators, school librarians and day-care centre employees, and other persons interested in education, will find out what cultural institutions can offer to schools in the capital of the voivodeship and as well as in the region.

The speakers will be representatives of the Central Museum of Prisoners-of-War, the Opole Silesia Museum, the Opole Village Museum, the Museum of the Silesian Piasts, the Jan Kochanowski Theatre in Opole, the Józef Elsner Philharmonic in Opole and the Emanuel Smołka Voivodeship Public Library in Opole.

The seminar, which will start on 24 February at 1 p.m., will be opened by the Marshall of Opole Province Andrzej Buła, and the Director of the Central Museum of Prisoners-of-War Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska.
