Delegation from Rhineland-Palatinate

Between 13 and 14 November, our Museum hosted a delegation from the National Centre of Civic Education in Rhineland-Palatinate (Landeszentrale für politische Bildung Rheinland-Pfalz) and Directorate of Supervision and Services (Die Aufsichts- und Dienstleistungsdirektion).

On the first day, the German guests visited our Museum and the Site of National Remembrance in Łambinowice. The visit was being paid in the company of the Management of the Museum, that is Dr Violetta Rezler-Wasielewska and Dr Renata Kobylarz-Buła, as well as Head of Department of Education and Exhibitions, Dr Anna Wickiewicz and Dr Ewelina Klimczak-Czaplicka. The programme of the delegation’s stay was filled with sightseeing and talks on experiences in the sphere of civic education and perspectives of further cooperation.

The talks were continued today at the Opole seat of our Museum. Our guests had an opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibitions currently on display and the work of the Archive. This has not been the first visit paid by representatives of offices, experts and politicians from Rhineland-Palatinate – one of the regions which we are linked to on the basis of a partner agreement. It should be stated that it is a good thing that our Museum can have a share in the development of this cooperation.
