Applications for the educational session 2026 have started coming

Artificial Intelligence has come to provoke extreme emotions these days: from fascination to apprehension. However, since we cannot pretend that it does not affect us, let us try to harness this change together. Already on 29 May in Opole, there will be held the 21st edition of the educational session in the series “If not memory, so what? Education at sites of national remembrance”. This time, the running title is “Steady, this is just a revolution: AI in education”.

We have prepared a programme which combines theoretical knowledge with practice. The experts invited by us will help the participants understand the mechanisms of the AI operating and during the planned workshops we will test concrete tools together as they can facilitate everyday educational process. We have invited also representatives of Generation Z to hold discussions. It is them who – being digital ‘natives’ themselves – know best how to use artificial intelligence in a pragmatic manner, one that is void of any prejudices. We will also arrange for taking a look at our own work: we will share conclusions concerning the first attempts at introducing tools of AI in museal and historical education. The whole will be closed with a discussion on a surprise topic.

We invite all interested persons to join us on 29 May at our Opole seat, to learn how AI can become our ally in the school and museal education.

We accept applications on the form submitted online [here]. The deadline: 25 May.
