| Permanent exhibitions | Temporary exhibitions |
The activity related to organizing exhibitions is among the basic statutory tasks to be per-formed by the Museum. It has been conducted with utmost care and intensity since the very foundation of the Museum. Accordingly, there are two main types of exhibitions, that is ones organized on permanent or temporary basis. In the case of the latter, the Museum organizes its own displays and but can also use ones prepared by other centers or institutions. The aim of all exhibitions is to present the most important facts connected with the Second World War, particularly relating to Prisoners-of-War, as well as the history of Lamsdorf/Łambinowice. Great care is taken to make the presentation interesting and comprehensible to the widest pub-lic. The majority of the Museum's exhibition on display in Łambinowice is of permanent character; the other part is arranged on temporary basis. The seat of the Museum in Opole houses solely temporary exhibitions, which are also sent out on loan, free of charge, to other museums, culture centers, libraries or schools in Poland and abroad
