The Association of Friends
of the Central Museum of Prisoners-of-War in Łambinowice-Opole

The Association of Friends of the Central Museum of Prisoners-of-War in Łambinowice-Opole was established on 29 December, 2004. Its members are dedicated to the cause of preserving the memory of the Prisoners-of-War interned in the camps. The basic aim of the Association is extending substantial and financial support to the Museum in the realization of its statutory activity, in particular as regards collection and preservation of historical exhibits, in the scientific-research, educational, publishing spheres, as well as those related to exhibiting and commemorating.

The Association is registered as one of public benefit, acting in compliance with the Act on activity of organizations of public benefit and voluntary service of 24 April, 2003 (Journal of Laws No. 96, item 873).

We cordially encourage everybody to join the Association and participate in its works. It is also possible to financially support the Association with donating any sum of money or transferring a grant of 1% of the annual income tax to the following account PKO BP S.A. I.O.
