Works on the mobile app „O!polskie muzea” have been finalised. Presently, all owners of smartphones, tablets and any other mobile device, can, free of charge, download it and get access to digitalized objects who popularize the Opole region heritage.
The app is guide to 22 museums. It includes, among others, contact information, links to websites and social medias. Its greatest asset, however, are the photographs of over 1,000 objects, additionally provided with brief descriptions. This is the result of work done by individual institutions, including our Museum, which by participating in the project, hopes to increase the real number of visitors.
The leader of the project (total cost is PLN 126,000) is the Polish Song Museum in Opole who worked in partnership with other institutions. The app „O!polskie muzea” was developed as part of the "Digital Culture" program of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
The application can be downloaded from one of the internet stores: Google Play or App Store.
